I am Tanya Ribeiro, Portuguese heritage, but born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa, now living in Co. Tipperary, Ireland - you can say that “my middle name is multi-cultural” … howzit! I am a family portrait photographer, who is obsessed with human connections in cinematic moments!

When I’m not spending time with my busy family, you’ll find me enjoying the peace, behind a camera lens, outdoor in the open, with fresh air in my lungs! I am so lucky to get to do what I love - and I thank God daily for this gift!

But why portrait photography? In a time where the dominance of fake virtual “realities” is taking over - I firmly believe in the irreplaceable value of genuine human connections. It is my passion and obsession to capture these profound connections, through the creation of photography, by snapping away, while you have organic interactions, - these real moments can’t be replicated or faked, you see it in the eye sparkles, you feel it in the warm smiles and gentle caresses, and you can hear it in the dancing feet… These are the moments technology can never replace!
